The legendary Mauricio "Maurição" Motta Gomes is one of only six people to have been promoted to black belt by Rolls Gracie. He has been training and teaching BJJ for over 50 years and currently holds the rank of 8th-degree coral belt. Mauricio is also the father and coach of the GOAT, Roger Gracie.
